Always insist on clear and explicit terms and conditions (in writing) of the deal/transaction with the supplier (e.g. payment, price, transportation cost, refund and return policy, and delivery method/date, etc.)

Watch out for unrealistic offers. Unrealistic offers are used to motivate buyers to make hasty decisions via copywriting using provoking words. Always insist on paying to the suppliers via Shoppa.in supported business transactions only to secure your payment.

Check out the Bank City via IFSC code provided by the supplier and match it with the city claimed by the Supplier. Please also check the Bank account details of the supplier on his Shoppa.in web-catalog available on www.shoppa.in (if available).

Communicate with Suppliers on the numbers provided via Shoppa.in and before making any payment, do call and confirm the contact numbers available on Shoppa.in. Do not meet suppliers at unknown and unsafe locations.

Never communicate with suppliers on WhatsApp calls.

Security and Safety Tips for Suppliers

Always insist on clear and explicit terms and conditions (in writing) of the deal/transaction with the buyer (eg. payment, price, transportation cost, refund and return policy, and delivery method/date, etc.)

Do not click on any UPI (Payment App) link to receive the payment from the Buyer or Person claiming to be Buyer or unknown person. UPI Pin is entered only when you make a payment and NOT when you receive money/payment from anyone.

Always insist on getting payment from buyers through supported business transactions only to secure your payment.

Do not meet buyers at unknown and unsafe locations. Always communicate on an official email address if a buyer is portraying as a government servant/official/representative. Scanning any QR Code of Wallet means you are PAYING, NOT RECEIVING payment.

Shoppa.in is an online marketplace that brings together buyers and suppliers. It does not participate in the negotiations and transactions that take place between buyers and suppliers.

Shoppa.in, therefore, is not accountable for the fraudulent nature of suppliers/ buyers. However, in case there is a complaint against a supplier, Shoppa.in conducts a proper check and takes appropriate action.

Additionally, we recommend buyers to source products only from verified sellers, preferably with TrustSEAL. You can access the Shoppa.in the customer help desk and submit your issues.

To view and manage your posted requirements, follow these steps:

Visit your Buyer Dashboard.

In the ‘Buyer Tools’ section, under the ‘Manage requirements’ tab, you will be able to see the list of all your posted requirements.

You can add further details to your requirements to make it more specific, check its status, and reply to the suppliers who have contacted you by Clicking “Add More Details”. Click on the Delete Option to Delete your requirement on Desktop.

On Clicking Yes, your requirement will be deleted from Shoppa.in.

To post a buy requirement, follow these simple steps.

Log into Shoppa.in.

Enter product name and specifications of the product you wish to buy.

Get quotes from the seller or tell us your requirement. We will send you the most relevant supplier contact details on your registered email address and mobile number.

You can search for a Product or Service on Shoppa.in using the steps mentioned below:

Visit www.shoppa.in and search for the product/company name using the search box.

From the search result page, you can also choose/enter the preferred city of product/supplier you wish to source products.

A buyer can provide his feedback to Shoppa.in by responding to the feedback emails.

Buyers can share seller feedback as well as their feedback about overall Shoppa.in experience through these emails, by clicking on the corresponding mode of completion.

To register for free on Shoppa.in, follow the steps given below:

Visit Seller Dashboard, Enter your 10-digit mobile number. Click on “Submit” and enter OTP received on your mobile number.

Enter your basic details- Company name, Email Id.

Add 3 Products that you want to show in your catalog.

Enter Address details like your PIN Code, City, State, and GST details. Enter your basic details - Your Name, Company Name, Email ID.

Click on ‘Start Selling’ to create your profile. This will take you to the dashboard specially created for sellers listed on Shoppa.in, where you can start adding products to build your catalog.

You can access Shoppa.in through our website and mobile app. Please note that it may take up to 7 days to free-list your company. Kindly ensure that the information submitted is correct and updated.

You can mark tender as Not Relevant by visiting the BuyLeads section on your seller panel, on the latest tenders page similar to how it is on BuyLeads. You can follow the below steps to mark tender as not relevant:

When you click on the Not Relevant option, a confirmation message is displayed:

If you choose to remove, then the tender is removed from your feed and it will also not appear in tender alerts sent afterward.
